Favourite Festive Lip Glosses!

It is exactly four weeks until christmas and i couldn't be more excited! Around this time of year my makeup loves start to change slightly and i have to rake out all my favourite festive colours, such as darker lip glosses. These are four of my favourites that i want to share with you, i have watched the colour down below each lip gloss so that you can see the true colour.

Bourjous Effet 3D Lipgloss in 06 - This lip gloss is perfect if you want a super shiny, glossy elixir effect, it can be slightly sticky but that's the norm with most lip glosses! its a beautiful bright true red colour it's quite pigmented but still quite sheer so you can build upon it depending on how dark you want the colour.

Rimmel London Apocalips Lip Lacquer in Big Bang - This lipgloss is probably my favourite as it is soo pigmented i love it! Its a lovely consistency and apply so easily. I'd recommend using a lip liner before applying the gloss as if you do go over your lip line it looks obvious as it is so pigmented so take your time when applying. It only needs one application for it to be pigmented enough it's a very bright true red colour, not too sticky and it also smells amazing!

Stila Magnificent Metals Lip Gloss in Garnet - This is my newest lip gloss and i really love it, it's a lot less pigmented than the others but what drew me into buying this one was the amount of golden shimmers in it! I just instantly thought of christmas, the packaging of this product is also beautiful with the gold detailing and it looks amazing over a nude lip, adding a touch of shimmer perfect for a christmas party!

Nars Lip Gloss in Risky Business - This is also a newish purchase and the same with the Stila one it is one of the lesser pigmented ones out of the four i've chosen, it also has shimmers in it but a lot less than Garnet and it is much more of a nude colour rather than dark pinky red. It apply super easily with a lovely consistency and again i really love wearing this over a dark nude lipstick.

What are your festive favourites!? <3

Product Review : BooTea Teatox

I'm sure you've all heard of a "teatox" by now as pretty much everyone and their mum has tried one! I have tried a couple but "BooTea" is by far my favourite, not only did it work for weight loss reasons but i felt so much more awake and energised whilst drinking the teas.

I brought the 14 day teatox as i wasn't sure i'd like it and this was £19.99 which in my eyes is a bargain for something that really does give positive results, i was a bit skeptical as there are so many similar products on the market that have turned out to be a bit of a fad! I lost around 7lbs in 2 weeks but for me it wasn't for weightless reasons, i am coeliac and am always looking for ways to improve my digestive system and not only is this product gluten free but it's helped me no end with feeling less bloated, more awake and my skin is glowing more!

What you get inside the box you receive is 2 packets, one packet contains daytime tea bags and the other packet contains night time tea bags, all the loose leaf tea comes in teabags which is super handy and convenient. I find myself looking forward to having my morning tea, its an added bonus that the tea is delicious!

So overall, if you're someone who is feeling a bit sluggish, suffering with acne, wanting to lose a few pounds and be less bloated or just striving to be that little bit healthier i would completely 100% recommend this product having tested and tried it myself i just had to tell you all about it, what an amazing product!!

Product Review: Revolution 'Give Them Nightmares' Exclusive Palette

As it was halloween Saturday i decided to try out the Revolution 'give them nightmares' 18 exclusive eyeshadow palette. I just had to pick this up in Superdrug when i saw the amazing colours on the back of the packaging and then noticed it was only £4! Absolute bargain!

I don't really have any shades like these in my makeup collection as i'm quite safe with my makeup looks and tend to stick to neutral shades so i had so much fun creating new looks with this!

I love that you get a range of matte shades to shimmery shades, some more so than others but overall they are all very pigmented and have amazing colour pay off with little fallout which is everything you want in an eye shadow. I love the fact that there is some lighter shades included in there too and the matte white is so handy for highlighting and creating a contrast.

The palette is so affordable and was just perfect for halloween and this time of year, it comes with a free little eyeshadow brush and i would really recommend this palette for someone starting out in makeup trying to grow their collection or wanting to experiment with darker shades and colours but without having to invest a lot of money!

I also would just like to add that the black and rose gold packaging for this is a dream and the palette feels like a splurge luxury item but for £4 you get a whole lot for your money, i LOVE it!

Product review: Neals Yard Remedies Organic Palmarosa Range

If you watch my YouTube videos you will know that i feel a huge amount of love towards Neals Yard's products, they complete my life! Something that has recently increased my love for their products is the Purifying Palmarosa range. I was going through a bad patch of getting pimples and spots that were not welcome, this is unusual for my normally quite clear skin so i decided to look into what could help to clear it up as soon as possible and came across this range which has just been my absolute savour.

I started out with the oily to combination skin kit which includes 5 different mini products from the range and it was enough to make me want to buy a couple of the full sized versions before i'd even used up the kit as my skin cleared up in no more than 4 days which in my eyes is AMAZING. So, i obviously couldn't wait to share my "secret weapon" with you guys.

The toner has to be my favourite, i dap some on a cotton pad morning and night and just massage into my skin in circular motions and it makes my skin feel so squeaky clean and the softest it's ever felt. It's extra lovely in the morning after you've woken up just to really refresh your skin before applying makeup or completing your skin cleansing routine further.

The moisturiser is gorgeous too the scent is lovely and fresh, i love the fact that the moisturiser isn't too thick or oily so it doesn't sit on your skin feeling sticky, it absorbs quickly and leaves your skin feeling nourished and clean which is exactly what you want out of a moisturiser. Another bonus is that it acts as a mattifyer which means it's keeping any oil your skin may be producing at bay concluding in a clean, fresh, bright, nourished and spot clear area, what more could you want!

Overall i can definitely say these will be repurchased when they sadly run out, which hopefully will be a while away yet as they have lasted me so extremely well already and i've been using them both twice a day for at least a month.

The Palmarosa Daily moisture is £25, the toner is £16 or you can try the kit for £15 which i would really recommend, especially for teenagers going through that dreaded acne stage!

Has anyone else tried this range? i would love to hear your feedback too! x
