Millie Mackintosh Lashes

It's finally the weekend woo! Yesterday i was in my local town centre and came across these Millie Mackintosh lashes that i've wanted to try ever since she launched them and to make things even better they were £3.99 instead of around £8, bargain! So i grabbed two different styles to try out, i went for the "Belgravia" and "Portobello" ones. The packaging is absolutely gorgeous and the lashes come with free glue which is actually very good glue minus that horrible smell that some of the glues sometimes have.

The Portobello lashes stood out to be the most as there is gaps in between the lashes and the band is very thing so they give a much more natural look and are beautiful on, i didn't need to trim them and i can't even feel them on my lashes which is amazing as normally i will avoid wearing lashes because they irritate my eyes so these are definitely my favourite!

The second pair are just as lovely, the "Belgravia" lashes are also very natural looking with a very thin band which makes application so much easier! They aren't black but instead a really natural looking brown/dark blonde colour so you could get away with wearing these during the day without eyeliner for a much more fuller but natural look!

I love these lashes and definitely want to try some different styles out, has anyone else tried and loved these? what is your favourite lash brand?

How To Contour & Highlight Using Drugstore Products

My recent upload onto my YouTube Channel was a "How To" video about contouring and highlighting using drugstore products, which is my absolute favourite thing to do when using makeup! I have found a way to do it that suits me so well now and i get amazing results from it, it's easy to do whether you're a beginner or a pro (if you're pro you probably won't be taking advice from me haha) and i show you step by step what products I'm using, brushes I'm applying products with and how to apply it. I will link the video below i'd love for you to go and check it out!

Outfit Of The Night

I am in love with this outfit that i recently purchased from F&F, they're not normally a brand i would buy from but sometimes they have some really lovely pieces at such affordable prices that i just couldn't resist this! It would be perfect for a christmas or new years eve party. The material hangs really nicely in all the right places with a small opening at the front on the chest, which is flattering but modest as it doesn't show anything off, the belt tie is really lovely to just gently cinch in the waist to keep a shape to your figure and then it flares out into a jumpsuit, the flared trousers are wide enough to look like both a jumpsuit and a maxi dress adding an extra edge to your outfit! It is fastened with 2 buttons at the back and detailed with a embellished neck which looks really elegant and classy. I teamed this outfit with some black open toed sandal heels from ASOS and a beautiful bracelet from Tayroc which matches the embellished neck perfectly.

Heels - ASOS (closest match)

How to get beautiful sleek waves!

Lately i've been trying to make a little more effort with my hair styles because, it's normally the thing that i will leave until last in the morning and then not be bothered to do anything with so i end up scraping it up into a ponytail or a high bun.. Admit it, we're all guilty of this sometimes, i salute you if you really make an effort with your hair everyday! I decided to pick up my Remington silk curling wand and try to create some sleek looking wavy curls just to add a bit more texture and interest to my hair.

I absolutely love the result i had, i used my Miaflora Aragn Oil before styling my hair. I use just 2 drops and rub that into my hands then run my fingers through the ends of my hair, staying away from the roots as this can result in making your hair greasy which no one wants! I then go onto brushing this through with a tangle teezer and separating my parting slightly off centre. I always find it easier to tie one half of my hair with a hair band just to get it out of the way and then curling one side then going onto the other. I used my curling wand at 180 degrees as i wanted it to be a temperature that wasn't going to be too much heat on my hair and wrapped my sections of hair round for about 10 minutes then gently letting the curl out. I find it best to leave all the curls as they fall out then once i've finished curling my whole head i gently brush through again with my tangle teezer to create these gentle, soft, glossy waves that blend and flow together. I think this hair style would look amazing with a bright red lip and a LBD! Even maybe for a prom with a few bits clipped up or a braid running through it.

I filmed a tutorial of this look so if you'd rather watch it i will link it below, have fun creating!

Exciting News!

Exciting News!

So i recently posted a new video about my next venture in life which i'm so excited about! I would love it if you could take the time to watch my video and let me know what you think. If you're someone who would rather read then i will explain a little now. So, for the last few months i have been working on getting a website together and taking the plunge into something i've wanted to do for years, and that is to have my own online clothing line! These clothes are not handmade by me as i'm not that clever (wish i was!) but they are clothes that i have selectively picked out to feature on my website. I will put a link below so that you can go have a gander and see if you like it, let me know i'd love some feedback :)

I would also really appreciate if you could go give my Facebook page a "like" it would help me out a tonne!

I hope you all love it as much as i do :)

Evening outfit | lookbook

Date night lookbook | Style Sunday

Can't find anything to wear? starting to stress? your whole wardrobe is basically emptied onto your bedroom floor? We've all been there before and if you haven't then PLEASE tell me your secrets!
I often have this problem and no matter how much i plan or organise my outfit i will most probably end up putting it on and the deciding there's something about it that is horrible and changing it then stressing out at the last minute because apparently "i have nothing to wear!!" when this is far from the truth. But what girl doesn't do this, it's like a passage of life.. right?
I have found that the one piece of advice that has always helped me out is, "less is more" and it's so true so i try to go by this when choosing an outfit for an occasion. I wanted to pick something that was classy but not too sophisticated, something that was a little more fun. I love the way that my chest is nicely covered but when i turn round my back is on show, i think sometimes showing more back than chest is so much more flattering. The dress i chose is also a really nice length but has slight slits at the side so it shows a little more leg either side. My shoes are absolute killers but i love them too much not to show them off! they are definitely "car too bar" shoes. I accessorised my outfit with a rose gold bracelet and watch, rose gold earrings and of course, some red lippy! I will list where i brought everything at the end of my post, hope you enjoy! :)
